There's a first for everything.

I have been trying to figure out how to start a blog.... what do I say first? I couldn't figure it out and all that figuring was taking too long so here I am just blogging about nothing.
I usually have a whole lot to say so hopefully it will work itself out.

Let's see... I just got my oldest daughter, Eowyn, off to college a couple of weeks ago. There went my kid taxi so now I'm juggling the taxi job again.

Here are Conan and I being the proud parents at the graduation.

My garden hasn't done so well this year because of the draught and extreme heat but I did get some great bugs and my passion flower is beautiful.

I am getting ready to do a jewelry show at the Kerrville Music and Wine Festival this weekend with Aurora Joleen Designs.  That will be a blast. Aurora Joleen is a Texas Hill Country girl who traveled the world perfecting her art of jewelry making and has now come back to the Hill Country to practice her art. I have been helping her with her shows for a few years now and I really enjoy it. We take pretty things and go to new places and meet interesting people and make great stories with them.

I may have to make a stop by Magnolia Pearl and get myself a new outfit for the festivities!!! I never pass up an occasion to get a new outfit!

I will take my camera and get lots of pictures for you.
Until next time.....

Happiness is not a state to arrive at, but a manner of traveling.
